I'm 74, dyslexic and curious, and AI has become my open-ended magazine

I didn't learn much at school because I'm dyslexic. At 74 I decided to try AI, and I'm learning something new every day.

Hi, I'm 74 years old, retired, with a very curious mind. I want to keep learning, so I decided to try AI. It's been very, very helpful. It's educated me. I'm still learning a huge amount and I'm only at the beginning.

It's very technical, so I have to keep asking it every little thing: how to use it, what to do. I get excited when I find out new things. Baby steps for me, but I'm enjoying it very much. It helps my curious mind and keeps me entertained.

What changed

It's helped me greatly. I'm learning more and more every day. It doesn't save me time, it takes up a lot of my time, but it's very enjoyable. It's like an open-ended magazine to me, because I do love to learn and I like to keep my brain going as much as possible.

I didn't learn much at school because I'm dyslexic, so this has helped me greatly. I feel a bit empowered, because a lot of people my age are frightened of it. I'm not frightened of it. I'm curious about it.
