What this policy covers
- Tutorials: step-by-step guides to a task in a specific AI tool.
- Prompt library pages: copy-paste prompts grouped by job or role.
- “Is it worth it” reviews of paid AI plans.
- Head-to-head comparisons of two AI tools.
- “AI for” role pages, free tools and the blog.
AI Academy is published by Dupple. The same first-party sourcing rules apply across Dupple’s sites, including Toolradar and FinanceRadar.
How a page gets made
- Topic. We pick topics from what people search for and ask about (keyword data and our own site analytics), then check that AI Academy does not already have a page answering the same question.
- Research. Before writing, we open the vendor’s own pages for every tool the page names: pricing page, product pages, official docs and changelog. Plan names, prices, billing basis, free plan or trial, and limits are recorded with the URL they were read on and the date.
- Draft. The draft is produced with AI writing assistance, following our house style: the answer first, real numbers, and real weaknesses.
- Fact-check. A separate pass checks every price, plan, limit, version and feature claim against the vendor’s own pages. A claim that cannot be confirmed on a first-party source is removed, not kept because it was in the draft.
- Automated checks. Prompt pages go through build checks that fail on a dead internal link, a link to the page itself or a prompt count that does not match the prompts on the page. Style checks reject copy that breaks the house rules.
- Publish and date. Reviews, comparisons and prompt pages show when they were last updated. On prompt pages, that date only moves when the content really changed, not when a script touches the file.
Sourcing standards
| Claim | Where it must come from |
|---|---|
| Prices and plans | The vendor’s own pricing page, read for this page, dated, in the currency the vendor lists. No third-party estimates: if the vendor publishes no price, we say to check current pricing. |
| Features, limits and model versions | The vendor’s product pages, official documentation or changelog. |
| Company facts | The company’s own pages or announcements. |
| AI Academy numbers (tutorial, tool and prompt counts) | Our own data, read from the same source the site is built from. |
| Other statistics | A primary source, linked on the page. No invented benchmarks, user counts or ratings. |
Review sites, other listicles, press round-ups and answers from AI assistants are never the source of a fact on AI Academy.
How we use AI
AI Academy teaches people to use AI, and we use it ourselves. Drafts of reviews, comparisons, prompt pages and blog posts are produced with AI writing assistance, and many prompts in the library are drafted the same way. What AI does not do is supply facts: every price, plan, limit and feature in a draft is checked against the vendor’s own pages before publication, and anything that cannot be confirmed there is cut.
Tutorials
Before a tutorial is published, it is checked against a written checklist that treats these as blockers:
- a step that cannot be reproduced, or a process that dead-ends or contains a logic error;
- a prompt that does not produce what the step says it will;
- a screenshot that contradicts its step;
- an objective promised in the introduction that no step delivers;
- a product name, feature, plan or capability that does not match the vendor’s official documentation;
- a last step that does not show the finished result with an image, a video or a link.
Independence and sponsors
AI Academy earns money from subscriptions, starter packs and sponsors. Sponsored placements are labelled: a partner lead magnet, for example, is shown as “Presented by” its advertiser, and ad slots are kept apart from the article text. Sponsored placements never change a verdict, a score, a ranking or a recommendation, and no vendor can pay to be reviewed, to be reviewed favorably, or to have a weakness removed.
Dupple’s newsletters, including Techpresso, also carry paid sponsorships. Those sponsorships buy nothing on AI Academy.
Corrections and updates
When a fact is wrong, we fix it on the page. The corrections page explains how to report an error and lists recent fixes. How reviews, comparisons and the prompt library are judged is explained on how we rate.
