Tech & Startup Logos

5 prompts

Minimalist SaaS Logo

1/20

Minimalist geometric logo design for a SaaS startup, single bold abstract mark, monochrome black on white, clean modern sans-serif wordmark below the mark, vector style, professional brand identity, --ar 1:1 --no gradient, blur, complexity, photorealistic, 3d --v 6

Clean SaaS-style logo in the spirit of Stripe, Linear, and modern productivity tools.

💡

Pro tip: The --no gradient, blur, complexity, photorealistic, 3d negative prompt is critical. Without it Midjourney adds visual noise that real logos avoid.

Geometric Tech Mark

2/20

Modern geometric logo mark for a fintech company, single abstract symbol made of intersecting shapes, deep blue and emerald color palette, clean vector style, flat design, --ar 1:1 --no gradient, blur, photorealistic, 3d, text --v 6

Geometric mark-only logo. Strong for tech companies with strong typographic wordmark separate.

💡

Pro tip: Adding "text" to the negative prompt forces a mark-only logo. Without it Midjourney often adds gibberish text.

Modern App Icon

3/20

Modern iOS app icon design for productivity app, rounded square format, gradient from deep purple to bright pink, minimal white symbol in center, Apple App Store style, soft drop shadow, --ar 1:1 --no text, complexity, photorealistic --v 6

iOS-ready app icon with the rounded-square + gradient + minimal-symbol formula.

💡

Pro tip: Always specify "rounded square format" for iOS. For Android, say "rounded square with elevated material shadow".

Monogram Tech Logo

4/20

Modern monogram logo design for a tech startup, intertwined letters T and X, geometric and balanced, monochrome black, vector style, professional brand identity, --ar 1:1 --no gradient, blur, complexity, photorealistic --v 6

Monogram logo for two-word company names or initials.

💡

Pro tip: For two-letter monograms, specify the exact letters in quotes ("T" and "X"). Vague descriptors produce illegible results.

Geometric Animal Mark

5/20

Geometric tech logo featuring a stylized fox made of triangular shapes, single color orange on white, flat vector style, clean minimal lines, brand identity, --ar 1:1 --no gradient, blur, complexity, photorealistic, 3d --v 6

Animal-mark logo with geometric stylization. Strong for tech brands that want personality.

💡

Pro tip: Animal logos work best when the animal is described in shape language ("made of triangular shapes", "made of curved lines"). Pure realism rarely works as a logo.

Vintage & Hand-Drawn Logos

5 prompts

Artisan Coffee Crest

6/20

Vintage hand-drawn logo for an artisan coffee shop, classic shield crest emblem with two coffee beans crossed like swords, banner reading EST 1924 below, monoline illustration, sepia tones on cream background, hipster aesthetic, --ar 1:1 --no photorealistic, gradient, blur --v 6

Artisan-craft logo in the third-wave coffee tradition.

💡

Pro tip: The fake-old date (EST 1924) makes the logo feel established. Use any date between 1900-1960 for vintage authenticity.

Vintage Brewery Badge

7/20

Vintage brewery badge logo, circular emblem featuring a wheat stalk and hop cone, banner with brewery name space, two-color print look in deep burgundy and cream, classic American craft beer aesthetic, --ar 1:1 --no photorealistic, gradient, blur --v 6

Craft brewery badge — Brooklyn Brewing / Sierra Nevada tradition.

💡

Pro tip: Specify "two-color print look" to get the cheap-vintage-printing aesthetic. Single color reads modern; full color reads digital.

Apothecary Vintage Logo

8/20

Vintage apothecary logo, ornate Victorian botanical illustration of a herb in central frame, decorative typography around the border, sepia and forest green color palette, etched engraving style, --ar 1:1 --no photorealistic, gradient, blur --v 6

Apothecary / herbalist vintage logo. Strong for natural products, skincare, herbal teas.

💡

Pro tip: "Etched engraving style" triggers the precise vintage line-work aesthetic. Without it, results read as modern illustration.

Cowboy Western Logo

9/20

Vintage western logo for a ranch brand, hand-drawn rope lasso forming circular border around a horseshoe and cowboy hat, weathered brown and cream colors, distressed texture, classic Americana, --ar 1:1 --no photorealistic, gradient, modern --v 6

Western Americana logo. Strong for ranches, BBQ joints, denim brands.

💡

Pro tip: "Weathered" and "distressed texture" add the authentic vintage feel. Without them, the logo looks too clean to be "old".

Maritime Vintage Logo

10/20

Vintage maritime logo for a coastal restaurant, hand-drawn anchor with rope coiled around it, banner reading the restaurant name space, navy blue and cream nautical palette, classic New England aesthetic, --ar 1:1 --no photorealistic, gradient, modern --v 6

Maritime / nautical vintage logo. Strong for seafood restaurants, beach brands, sailing companies.

💡

Pro tip: Navy blue + cream is the universal nautical palette. Add "weathered rope" detail to elevate from generic to specific.

Mascot & Character Logos

5 prompts

Friendly Owl Mascot

11/20

Friendly cartoon owl mascot logo for an education brand, smiling owl wearing round glasses and holding a small book, bright primary colors, thick black outline, sticker style flat illustration, single character on white background, --ar 1:1 --no gradient, photorealistic --v 6

Children-friendly mascot character. Strong for education apps, kids products, learning brands.

💡

Pro tip: Thick black outline plus sticker style gives the print-ready bold look. Reduce stylize value (--stylize 100) for cleaner shapes.

Bear Mascot Sports Logo

12/20

Bold cartoon bear mascot for a sports brand, fierce expression with claws raised, thick black outline, vibrant red and yellow color palette, classic American sports team aesthetic, single character on transparent background, --ar 1:1 --no gradient, photorealistic --v 6

Sports team mascot — NBA / NFL / college sports aesthetic.

💡

Pro tip: Sports mascots need "fierce" or "energetic" expression. "Friendly" mascots feel wrong for competitive brands.

Fox Mascot Tech Logo

13/20

Modern playful fox mascot for a tech startup, friendly smiling expression, simplified geometric shapes, gradient from orange to red, flat illustration style, single character with neutral pose, --ar 1:1 --no photorealistic, complexity --v 6

Tech mascot with personality but modern aesthetic — Mailchimp style.

💡

Pro tip: Tech mascots use simpler shapes and modern gradients vs. traditional thick-outline cartoon style. Specify "simplified geometric shapes".

Coffee Shop Cat Mascot

14/20

Cozy cartoon cat mascot for a coffee shop, sitting cat holding a steaming coffee cup, warm brown and cream colors, friendly closed-eye smile, hand-drawn illustrated style, sticker quality, --ar 1:1 --no photorealistic --v 6

Local-business mascot with handcrafted feel.

💡

Pro tip: Handcrafted/illustrated mascots work better for small businesses than corporate flat designs. They signal personality and care.

Robot Mascot Tech Logo

15/20

Friendly robot mascot for an AI startup, rounded geometric body with simple expressive eyes, single hand waving hello, light blue and white color palette, flat vector style, single character on white, --ar 1:1 --no photorealistic, gradient --v 6

AI/tech mascot with friendly tone — softens otherwise impersonal AI branding.

💡

Pro tip: Rounded shapes signal friendly; angular shapes signal aggressive. For AI brands, always lean rounded to counter perception of cold technology.

Luxury & Premium Brand Logos

5 prompts

Luxury Monogram

16/20

Luxury fashion brand monogram logo, intertwined letters A and B, gold foil on black background, art deco style with subtle geometric details, ornate but balanced, Chanel-Hermes aesthetic, --ar 1:1 --no complexity, photorealistic, blur --v 6

High-end fashion monogram — Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton tradition.

💡

Pro tip: Gold foil on black is the universal luxury signal. For modern luxury (Loewe, Bottega Veneta), swap to muted earth tones.

Premium Watch Brand

17/20

Premium logo for a luxury watch brand, classic serif wordmark with small crown emblem above, deep navy blue and metallic gold, balanced symmetric composition, Swiss watchmaking heritage aesthetic, --ar 1:1 --no photorealistic, complexity, modern --v 6

Heritage watch brand — Patek Philippe, Rolex tradition.

💡

Pro tip: "Swiss watchmaking heritage" is shorthand that anchors the precise typography and crown-mark conventions of luxury watch logos.

High-End Restaurant Logo

18/20

Sophisticated logo for a Michelin-starred restaurant, elegant serif wordmark with subtle leaf decoration, deep emerald green and cream color palette, refined minimal composition, fine dining aesthetic, --ar 1:1 --no complexity, photorealistic --v 6

Fine dining logo — Eleven Madison Park, The French Laundry tradition.

💡

Pro tip: Fine dining logos lean minimal — restrained typography, single understated decoration. Heavy ornament reads as bistro, not Michelin.

Luxury Spa Brand

19/20

Refined logo for a luxury spa brand, minimal sans-serif wordmark with single small lotus flower icon, soft gold on white background, balanced and spacious composition, serenity aesthetic, --ar 1:1 --no complexity, photorealistic --v 6

Luxury spa logo — wellness with high-end positioning.

💡

Pro tip: Wellness brands use lotus, water droplet, leaf, or wave as their single icon. Specify which — "lotus" reads spiritual, "leaf" reads natural.

Luxury Jewelry Brand

20/20

Elegant logo for a luxury jewelry brand, classic serif wordmark with diamond-shaped accent above, monochrome silver on black background, balanced symmetric composition, Tiffany-Bulgari aesthetic, --ar 1:1 --no complexity, photorealistic --v 6

Heritage jewelry brand — Tiffany, Bulgari, Cartier tradition.

💡

Pro tip: Naming "Tiffany-Bulgari aesthetic" anchors the precise jewelry-brand typography. Heritage jewelry brands almost always use classic serif wordmarks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Midjourney logo prompts produce a starting point, not a final logo. For real commercial use: (1) generate 4-8 variations with these prompts; (2) take the best concept to a professional designer to refine into vector format with proper kerning, alignment, and brand-system thinking. Midjourney outputs are raster (pixel-based), not vector — they cannot scale infinitely the way real logos need to. Also: Midjourney commercial-use rights depend on your subscription tier (Pro plan grants broader rights than Basic).
Midjourney v6 is unreliable with text — it often produces gibberish letters or misspelled wordmarks. Three workarounds: (1) generate the mark-only (no text) by adding text to the --no negative prompt; (2) for short text, try DALL-E 3 which handles text more accurately; (3) generate the mark in Midjourney, then add the wordmark in vector software (Figma, Illustrator) afterward.
The --no parameter is a negative prompt — it tells Midjourney to AVOID certain elements. For logos, --no gradient, blur, complexity, photorealistic, 3d is essentially mandatory. Without it, Midjourney adds visual noise (gradients, fake 3D effects, complicated details) that real logos avoid. Real logos are flat, simple, scalable — the --no parameter forces those properties.
Two approaches: (1) Use the same prompt and just re-run (4 variations per generation in Midjourney); (2) Use --sref (style reference) with the URL of a logo you like to copy its visual style for new subjects. The second approach is how designers iterate on a logo system — pick a "north star" style, then generate variations of different brand assets in that style.
Square (1:1) is the universal default — works for app icons, social media profiles, business cards. For wordmark-heavy logos with no central mark, try 16:9 or 3:1 (wider) to capture the full wordmark. Always also generate at 1:1 to ensure your logo works in square contexts (which is most digital placements).
