Is Rezi worth it in 2026?

Free, Pro and Lifetime prices from Rezi’s own pricing page, the month Lifetime starts costing less than paying monthly, and what each plan limits, checked 19 October 2026.

By Louis Corneloup·Updated October 23, 2026

The quick answer

Rezi Pro costs $29 a month and the Lifetime plan is a $149 one-time payment, checked on Rezi’s pricing page on 19 October 2026, so Lifetime costs less once you would pay for six or more months of Pro. Stay on Free until its one resume and three PDF downloads stop being enough. Pro adds unlimited resumes, AI interviews and downloads, the full Rezi Score and one human resume review a month, and Lifetime matches Pro except for that review. The catches: Lifetime is licensed for personal use only, Rezi’s terms give no length for it, and Rezi’s own pages disagree on a few plan details. Teal+ is the alternative priced here, billed every 7, 30 or 90 days.

Rezi is worth paying for once its Free plan stops being enough, and its Lifetime plan costs less than paying monthly from the sixth month. A job search has an end date, so a subscription and a one-time payment are really a bet on how long you will be looking. The prices below are from Rezi’s pricing page, checked on 19 October 2026.

The Rezi figures come from that pricing page, Rezi’s subscription plans guide, its cancellation guide and its terms. The Teal figures come from Teal’s pricing page, checked the same day. Academy data: our prompt library holds 7 resume prompt packs with 213 prompts, counted on 19 October 2026, and the Academy has one Rezi tutorial, at Beginner level. Rezi has no prompt pack of its own, so every Rezi figure here comes from the vendor.

What you get

  • ✓A real free plan: one resume, one AI interview and three PDF downloads cost $0, and Rezi says no payment is needed to start.
  • ✓A one-time option: Lifetime is a single payment for the Pro features, so there is no monthly charge to cancel.
  • ✓Lifetime pays back in six months: against month-to-month Pro, the sixth payment takes the total past the Lifetime price.
  • ✓A 30-day money-back window: Rezi says Pro and Lifetime carry a 100% guarantee, with a full refund on request within 30 days.
  • ✓Limits are listed row by row: the comparison table names the caps on resumes, interviews, downloads, formats and export.

The trade-offs

  • ✕Lifetime has no expert review: Pro includes one a month, and Rezi sells a review as an add-on from $8 with no unit given.
  • ✕Personal use only: Rezi’s terms limit Pro and Lifetime to personal, individual use and point anyone assisting other job seekers to Enterprise.
  • ✕“Lifetime” has no stated length: Rezi’s FAQ says “permanent access”, and the terms give no term for the licence.
  • ✕Rezi’s own pages disagree on cover letters in Free, what Lifetime includes and when Pro ends after cancelling.
  • ✕No quarterly price is published, though the help center says the upgrade screen offers quarterly billing.

Worth it if…

  • →You need more than one resume or more than three PDF downloads, for example a tailored resume for each application.
  • →Your search will run six months or longer, or you expect to use Rezi again later, which is when Lifetime costs less.
  • →Your search is short, a month or two, and you would cancel Pro the day you accept an offer.
  • →You want Word and Google Drive export and the full Rezi Score rather than the Limited version on Free.

Skip it if…

  • →One resume and three PDF downloads cover your search. The Free plan costs $0 and is the place to start.
  • →You prepare resumes for other people. Rezi’s terms point anyone assisting other job seekers to Enterprise.
  • →You want the monthly expert resume review included. Pro includes it and Lifetime does not.
  • →You need “lifetime” to mean a fixed term, which Rezi’s terms do not give.

Is the Rezi Lifetime plan cheaper than paying monthly?

Yes, from the sixth month. $149 divided by Pro’s monthly price is 5.14, so five monthly payments ($145) still cost $4 less than Lifetime, and the sixth payment takes the total to $174, which is $25 more. This assumes you pay Pro month to month, the single Pro price on Rezi’s pricing page. Every total here is our arithmetic.

Four search lengths show the shape. Two months of Pro is $58, which is $91 less than Lifetime. Four months is $116, or $33 less. Six months costs $25 more than Lifetime, and twelve months ($348) costs $199 more. Up to five months, month to month costs less, and you can cancel when you accept an offer.

Two things can move this. Rezi’s help center says the upgrade screen offers monthly, quarterly or lifetime plans, but no quarterly price appears on the pricing page or in the guide, so a quarterly discount would push the break-even later and cannot be computed here. And Pro includes a monthly human review that Lifetime leaves out, so anyone who values that review is comparing more than price.

The refund window limits the risk of a first purchase. Rezi says Pro and Lifetime carry a 100% money-back guarantee, and that you can request a full refund within 30 days of purchase if you are unsatisfied. After day 30 a Lifetime payment is spent, so buy it when you expect to need Rezi for six months or more across one search or several.

What Free, Pro and Enterprise include and limit

Free is $0, and Rezi says no payment is needed to start. It gives you one resume, one AI interview, three PDF downloads and the Standard format, with the AI Resume Writer and AI Resume Editor included. The Rezi Score, keyword targeting and content analysis are marked “Limited”, and the pricing page does not say where the limit falls. Word and Google Drive export are not included.

Pro removes those caps at the monthly price in the table: unlimited resumes, AI interviews and PDF downloads, all five formats, Word and Google Drive export, the cover letter and resignation letter builders, the full Rezi Score and keyword targeting, and one expert resume review a month. Rezi’s table describes that review as a resume and hiring expert personally reviewing your resume.

Enterprise is $99 a month per 200 users, booked through a demo, for universities, agencies and career sites. It adds team tools such as single sign-on and team roles to everything in Pro, so it is not the plan for one job seeker.

What Lifetime does not cover

The expert review is a gap. Pro includes one a month, Lifetime does not, and Rezi says a review can be bought for an extra fee. The pricing page shows it as “From $8” and the cancellation guide calls it a paid add-on starting from $8, with no unit given, so the cost of one review is not confirmed.

“Lifetime” has no stated length. Rezi’s FAQ describes “permanent access”, but the terms mention Lifetime once, to say that Pro and Lifetime subscriptions are licensed for personal, individual use. They give no term for the licence, so treat the price as buying Rezi as it works today.

Personal use is the limit. The same terms bar using Rezi on behalf of others for commercial purposes, and name resume writing services, career consulting services and staffing or recruiting operations as examples. Anyone assisting other job seekers or selling resume services is pointed to Enterprise.

Where Rezi’s own pages disagree

Three details change what you pay for, and Rezi’s pages describe them differently. Confirm them on the upgrade screen before you pay.

Cover letters on Free. The comparison table marks the cover letter builder as not included on Free, and neither help guide lists it there, but the FAQ on the pricing page says Free can create unlimited cover and resignation letters.

What Lifetime includes. The Lifetime card says “All features, one payment”, the FAQ below it says Lifetime leaves out the free monthly expert review, and the plans guide says Lifetime is not different from Pro in features.

When Pro ends after you cancel. The cancellation guide says the subscription ends as soon as you cancel and the account drops to Free. The plans guide says it stays active until the end of the current billing period. After cancelling, the cancellation guide says you keep one resume and extra resumes stay locked until you subscribe again.

What the Rezi Score is, and what it is not

Rezi says the Rezi Score evaluates the strength of a resume with 23 key metrics, with applicant tracking systems and the hiring process in mind. It is marked “Limited” on Free and “Full” on Pro and Enterprise. The score is Rezi’s own measure, not evidence of a hiring result. Rezi’s pricing page also opens with a claim about how many users land an interview, which we cannot check, so no figure here depends on it.

Rezi against Teal on price

Teal is the alternative priced here. Teal+ costs $13 every 7 days, $29 every 30 days or $79 every 90 days, with no card needed to start and cancellation at any time, according to Teal’s pricing page. Its free plan lists unlimited resumes and unlimited job tracking, where Rezi Free stops at one resume.

Over a 180-day search, two 90-day Teal+ payments cost $158 (computed), which sits between Rezi Lifetime and six months of Rezi Pro in the table above. The billing units differ (Teal charges every 7, 30 or 90 days, Rezi by the month) and the tools differ, so compare what each plan includes, not only the total.

Where the Academy fits

The Academy’s prompt packs help you decide what goes into a resume. Start with the ChatGPT resume prompts for summaries and achievement bullets, or the Claude ATS resume prompts, which tag wording they cannot support as UNVERIFIED. Rezi Free gives one AI interview, so the interview prep prompts add practice questions you can run in an assistant you already use.

The Rezi tutorial page lists one Beginner tutorial, and its newest date is April 2025, so check any screen it shows against the plans above. For wording polish rather than resume structure, see our Grammarly Premium review, or browse the Job Hunting with AI collection.

The verdict

Rezi is worth paying for when the Free plan’s one resume and three PDF downloads stop being enough. For a search of one to five months, month-to-month Pro costs less than Lifetime, and you can cancel when you land a job. From the sixth month, Lifetime costs less, because the sixth Pro payment takes the total to $174.

The caveats are specific. Lifetime leaves out the monthly expert review and gives no length for the licence, and Rezi’s own pages disagree on a few plan details, so confirm them on the upgrade screen. Teal+ is the alternative priced here, so price Rezi against it before you pay.
