AI Tool Review

Is Uizard worth it in 2026?

Free, Pro, Business and Enterprise from Uizard’s own pages, how many AI generations each plan allows, and which plan covers a month of AI-generated screens, checked 20 October 2026.

By Louis Corneloup·Updated October 23, 2026

The quick answer

Uizard Pro costs $12 per creator a month billed yearly ($144 a year) or $19 per creator billed monthly, checked on Uizard’s pricing page and Help Center on 20 October 2026, and carries 500 AI generations a month, while Free allows 3, Business 5,000 and Enterprise is unlimited. For a founder drafting 40 screens in a month (120 generations at three per screen, our assumption), Pro leaves room to spare, while Free also caps you at 2 projects and 5 screens per project. Business costs $39 per creator a month, billed yearly only, and adds a custom brand kit and unlimited projects. The catches: Uizard shows no counter of generations left, its pages disagree on several limits, the newest post in its blog list is from June 2024, and a lapsed paid plan leaves 2 accessible projects of 5 screens each. Figma is the tool Uizard compares itself with on its own site, and no Figma price is quoted here.

Forty screens at three AI generations each is 120 generations in a month, and that number picks the Uizard plan for you. Free allows 3 generations, so a founder drafting a first app at that pace needs a paid plan, and Pro is the one that fits. Business suits teams that want its extras. The figures come from Uizard’s pricing page and its Help Center, checked on 20 October 2026, in US dollars.

Uizard meters its AI features by a monthly generation count, and its lower plans cap projects and screens. Academy data: our four Claude prompt packs on wireframes, mockups, UI screens and prototypes hold 30 prompts each, 120 in all, counted in the prompt library on 20 October 2026, and the Academy’s UX Pilot tool page lists 1 tutorial for another AI UI designer. Uizard has neither a pack nor a tutorial here, so every Uizard figure comes from Uizard’s own pages.

Uizard plans at a glance, checked 20 October 2026

Prices and limits come from Uizard’s pricing page, in US dollars. The monthly Pro price comes from the Help Center, which also says paid plans are charged per creator seat. Rows marked computed are our arithmetic, and the three generations per screen is our assumption, not a Uizard figure.

What you get

  • ✓Allowances printed for every plan: each plan states a monthly generation figure, with the same figure beside each AI feature.
  • ✓Free viewers and commenters on every plan, so clients can review without a paid seat.
  • ✓Pro covers the scenario month at three generations per screen, with 380 generations to spare.
  • ✓A monthly option on Pro, so a one-month build does not need the yearly commitment.
  • ✓Cancellation keeps your work: nothing is deleted when a paid plan ends, and a new subscription restores access.

The trade-offs

  • ✕No counter: Uizard says you cannot see how many AI generations you have used or have left.
  • ✕Its pages disagree on the Pro saving, Business generations, Free generations, support tiers, team administration and refunds.
  • ✕Free and Pro designs may train AI models under the terms; Business and Enterprise are excluded.
  • ✕Business is yearly only, at $468 a year per creator, and Enterprise has no published price.
  • ✕Freshness is unclear: the newest blog post is from June 2024 and the footer reads 2024.

Worth it if…

  • →You are a founder or product manager who wants editable app or web mockups from a text prompt and developer handoff in CSS and React components.
  • →You need up to 100 projects and private projects, which Pro includes.
  • →You need one intense build month, where monthly Pro billing costs less than the yearly plan.
  • →Your team wants the custom brand kit, the training exclusion or, per the pricing page, priority support, which start at Business.

Skip it if…

  • →Three generations and ten screens will do: Free costs $0 and is the place to test the AI.
  • →You need a live site, working code or an API: Uizard’s FAQ says it is a design tool without those.
  • →Client designs must stay out of AI model training: the terms exclude only Business and Enterprise, so Free and Pro are out.
  • →You want a visible usage counter, which Uizard says it does not offer.

How much does Uizard cost for 40 screens a month?

Pro covers it more than four times over. Forty screens times three generations is 120. Pro’s allowance of 500 leaves 380 unused, so that month uses 24% of it. The three per screen is our assumption: Uizard’s Autodesigner guide says one text prompt generates multi-screen mockups and that the tool usually does not follow strict instructions such as a set number of screens, so a real month could use fewer generations or more.

Yearly Pro is $144 per creator and monthly Pro is $19. The yearly total is charged as one invoice, according to Uizard’s subscriptions article. Billed monthly, twelve months cost $228, which is $84 more. Seven monthly payments total $133 and eight total $152, so monthly billing costs less through month 7 and yearly billing wins from month 8. A founder who needs one build month can pay a single monthly instalment instead of the yearly total. The pricing page opens on the yearly price, so the monthly figure comes from the subscriptions article, dated 30 April 2025.

Business is $468 a year per creator and is billed yearly only, per the same article, so there is no one-month option. It costs $27 a month more than yearly Pro, both billed yearly, and its allowance is more than 41 times what this scenario needs. Both paid plans charge per creator seat and viewers and commenters are free, so two designers on yearly Pro would pay $288 a year (computed).

What does the Uizard Free plan allow?

Free is a trial of the AI, not a way to build a full app. The pricing page gives it 3 generations a month, 2 projects, up to 5 screens per project and 10 templates, which caps a workspace at 10 screens (computed). It runs Autodesigner 1.5, where the paid plans list Autodesigner 2.0, and the card describes Free as for students and hobbyists.

Free also leaves out private projects, developer handoff and transition animations, and its image and PDF export is limited to 1x resolution. It does include real-time collaboration, comments, public links, embedding and unlimited free viewers and commenters, so a client can review a draft without a paid seat.

Pro or Business: what does the extra $27 buy?

Pro already includes private projects, developer handoff in CSS and React components, up to 100 projects and the full template library. Business adds a much larger generation allowance, a custom brand kit with custom icons, image library and fonts, AI learning from that brand kit, unlimited custom templates and, per the pricing page, priority support. Its card also lists “Faster AI generation”, which is Uizard’s wording and comes with no speed figure.

The training clause is a real difference. Uizard’s terms of service, last updated 25 January 2024, say that designs, prototypes, wireframes and screenshots from Free and Pro users “may be used for the purpose of fine-tuning and training machine learning AI models”, and that those of Business and Enterprise customers are not. If client work goes through Uizard, read that clause before choosing Pro.

Enterprise has no published price. Its card shows a team size of 15+ and a Contact Sales button. The card and the comparison table together list unlimited generations, unlimited teams, custom workspaces, a dedicated account manager, design system setup and an “AI data SLA”. Single sign-on and two-factor authentication read “Contact Sales”. A solo founder will not need it.

What counts as an AI generation, and can you see how many are left?

The pricing page does not define a generation. It prints the same monthly figure beside ten AI features: projects and screens from text, themes and brand kits, images, heatmaps, design reviews, screenshot and wireframe scans, and the text and image assistants. It does not say whether those ten share one pool or each has its own count, and it does not say whether “Regenerate design” uses another generation. The Autodesigner guide adds that prompts are capped at 300 characters on every plan.

There is no counter. Uizard’s FAQ, dated 25 November 2024, says it is not possible to see how many AI generations you have used or have left, and the Autodesigner guide, dated 12 June 2024, says the same. On any plan, keep your own tally if you expect to approach the limit.

Where Uizard’s own pages disagree

Six details differ between Uizard’s pages. This page leads with the pricing page, since it is the page you buy from; confirm the rest at checkout.

The saving. The Pro card says “Save 40%” beside its billing switch, but the yearly price against the monthly price works out to a 37% saving (computed).

Business generations. The pricing page gives Business 5,000 a month and Enterprise unlimited, while the subscriptions article, dated 30 April 2025, lists unlimited scans, theme generations and assistant suggestions for Business and does not mention Enterprise.

Free generations. The pricing page says 3 AI generations a month. The Autodesigner guide says Free users get 2 Autodesigner generations a month.

Support. The pricing page lists priority support for Business and email and live chat for Pro; the subscriptions article lists priority support for Pro and a dedicated contact for Business.

Team administration. The pricing page ticks centralized team administration for Business and Enterprise only, while the subscriptions article ticks centralized team management for Pro and Business.

Refunds. The terms say no refunds for fees already paid, then entitle you to a refund if you cancel and contact support within 14 days of purchase. The Help Center calls it a money-back guarantee handled through a request form, and says a refund follows only if you are eligible.

What happens if you cancel or let Pro lapse?

A lapsed plan shrinks your workspace. Uizard’s cancellation article says a cancelled plan runs to the end of the billing cycle, then the organization drops to Free, where only the first two projects and up to five screens in each stay accessible. Nothing is deleted, and a new subscription restores full access. A large project would keep only 5 screens accessible until you pay again.

The same article lets you pause a subscription for 1, 2, 6 or 12 months. The terms add that subscriptions renew automatically for the same term, that fees are exclusive of taxes, and that you owe the full monthly fee for the month in which you cancel.

Is Uizard part of Miro, and how current is it?

Uizard’s blog announced on 27 May 2024 that it was joining Miro, and its terms list the company as care of Miro. The newest post in the blog list is dated 12 June 2024 (the Autodesigner 2.0 launch), the site footer reads 2024, and the pricing page still tags Autodesigner 2.0 as new. The pricing page was selling four plans on 20 October 2026, but Uizard’s pages state no roadmap.

Uizard against Figma, v0 and Framer

Uizard makes editable mockups and wireframes, and stops at design. Its FAQ says a design cannot be published as a live site or app, that there is no API access and no code import, and that mobile and iPad use is not officially supported. Pro and above add developer handoff in CSS and React components. Uizard’s own Figma alternative page calls it an easy-to-use alternative to Figma that needs no complicated vector-based design skills, which is the vendor’s claim; this page does not compare output quality.

Our v0 review covers a generative UI tool with per-user plans and credits, and the Framer review covers an AI website builder that publishes to its own hosting. Figma’s plans are not quoted here: read its own pricing page and price the same team size on both.

Where the Academy fits

The Academy’s prompt packs are written for Claude, not for Uizard, so use them to plan screens and copy before you write the shorter prompt Autodesigner accepts. Start with the wireframe prompts and the mockup prompts. The UX Pilot page is our tool page for a comparable AI UI designer.

The verdict

Pay for Uizard when you need dozens of editable AI-generated screens in a month and one of the two Pro billing options fits. At three generations per screen, the scenario month sits well inside Pro’s allowance, so Pro is the plan to price, as a single monthly payment or a yearly one per creator. Free is too small for that job, and Business is for teams that need its brand kit, its larger allowance or the training exclusion.

The caveats are specific: no generation counter, pages that disagree on limits, a training clause on Free and Pro, and a blog list that stops in June 2024. Check the upgrade screen before you pay, and price Figma on its own page for the same team size.
