Is Notta worth it in 2026?

Pro on annual billing, the price history since November 2024, what Trustpilot reports about charges, and how it compares with Otter and Fireflies.

By Louis Corneloup·Updated October 28, 2026

The quick answer

Notta is worth it if you record about 15 meetings a month and will pay annually. Pro is $8.17 a month billed annually, with 1,800 transcription minutes a month, and it sits below Otter Pro at $8.33 and Fireflies Pro at $10 a seat on the same annual billing basis. The catch is the billing record: Trustpilot reviews of notta.ai include charges after opting out, dated as recently as September 30, 2026. Pay with a renewal reminder set.

It was $9 a month billed annually on the November 18, 2024 page. The price is not the main risk. The billing record is: Trustpilot reviewers of notta.ai describe being charged after they opted out, and the newest of those reviews is dated September 30, 2026.

The trade-offs

  • ✕Trustpilot reviews of notta.ai from May to September 2026 describe charges after opting out and unexpected annual charges.
  • ✕Free caps each recording at 3 minutes of transcript, so it does not cover a 30-minute meeting.
  • ✕Monthly Pro and Business prices are not printed on the archived pages from March 2025 on, so a monthly buyer has to check the Monthly tab on notta.ai.
  • ✕After a downgrade to Free, transcript access drops to the first 3 minutes, according to the vendor’s FAQ.

Worth it if…

  • →Reps, recruiters or consultants who record 15 or more meetings a month and need Pro’s 1,800 minutes.
  • →Teams that want CRM and Zapier integration on annual billing.
  • →Buyers who will set a renewal reminder and keep the cancellation confirmation.

Skip it if…

  • →You need transcripts after a downgrade to Free, since Free shows just the first 3 minutes.
  • →You will not check your card statement after cancelling. Trustpilot has complaints about charges after opting out.
  • →You need SAML SSO or audit logs without 51 seats, since Enterprise starts at 51 seats.

Notta against Otter and Fireflies on price

Notta’s Pro figure is $0.16 below Otter’s and $1.83 below Fireflies’s on annual billing, and its Business figure is $3.32 below Otter’s and $2.33 below Fireflies’s. Otter’s Pro workspace is capped at 5 billed users and Business at 25, per its “Max workspace members” row. The Free plans differ more than the paid ones: Notta’s Free caps each recording at 3 minutes, while Otter’s Basic allows 30 minutes per conversation.

On monthly billing, Otter prints $16.99 a user a month for Pro and $30 for Business, and it labels the annual saving at 51% for Pro and 33% for Business. Fireflies’ figures in the table are its annual per-seat prices. Notta’s archived pages from March 2025 on print no monthly figures, so check its Monthly tab.

Academy data: as of October 25, 2026, of the 1,777 prompt packs in our library, 8 are built around meetings, and none names Notta.

What a 15-meeting month costs on each plan

Take a sales rep who records 15 meetings a month at 30 minutes each, which is 450 minutes of audio. Free gives 120 transcription minutes a month and caps each recording at 3 minutes, so it does not cover this rep.

Pro covers the volume. The 450 minutes sits inside its 1,800 minutes a month, and the printed annual total is $97.99. Add-ons are sold separately: Monolingual Translation is $6 a month billed annually ($10 monthly), and Bilingual Transcription and Translation is $9 a month billed annually ($15 monthly). Both are offered to Pro, Business and Enterprise users. The pricing page also lists Notta Brain at $93.59 a year, with 8,000 AI credits a month.

Business adds CRM and Zapier integration and an unlimited transcription quota for $16.67 a month billed annually, which is $8.50 more a month than Pro. For a rep who does not need the integration, that $8.50 buys integration, not extra minutes.

The vendor’s FAQ says transcription data stays saved after a paid plan is cancelled, but a Free user can view just the first 3 minutes of a transcript. It also says that moving from Pro to Business, or from annual to monthly billing, means cancelling the current plan and subscribing again.

The verdict

Pay for Pro if you record about 15 meetings a month, and pay annually with a renewal reminder set. On annual billing, Pro has 1,800 minutes, covers the 450 minutes of that month with room, and costs less than Otter Pro ($8.33) or Fireflies Pro ($10) on the same billing basis.

Skip Business unless you need the CRM and Zapier integration. It costs $8.50 more a month than Pro, and it printed $16.67 a month billed annually on every page read, from November 18, 2024 to October 2, 2026, so the decision is about the integration, not the price.

Skip Notta if a disputed charge would cost you more than the subscription. The Trustpilot record for notta.ai includes charges after opting out, dated as recently as September 30, 2026. What would change this verdict is a monthly Pro price on notta.ai that you are willing to pay, and a refund policy on the vendor’s site that you have read in full before you sign up.
